Dear customers, wondrous filmfreaks and lost celluloid-souls, here’s the answer to all your questions: The countless DVD-Covers residing in our corridors are indeed not for decoration, but for rental: We stubbornly believe in a good videostore offering things the Internet can’t offer: Surprises & discoveries that the all-calculating Netflix-algorithm will never give you, recommendations from the (mostly human) staff, rare movies you can’t find online…and we have been going at it in Fhain since 2005, with over 16.000 DVDs!

First at Revaler Str. opposite of RAW (where we even got a visit by Llyod Kaufman from Troma), then at Gärtnerstr. 19, and after some changes we’re now under the same roof and with the same entrance (Gärtnerstr. 19, corner Boxhagener Str.) as our cinema Ladenkino.
We may focus on classics, oddities and the (almost) forgotten treasures of film history from then to now and from El Topo to Krtek, the Little Mole, but fear not!: We also offer regularly updated new films, series and good Mainstream; plus sections for documentaries and kids‘ films, among others.
You can pay per film&day or through our fantastically addictive monthly Flatrate; and for everything else just pass by, signing up (for 1€) is fast. We’re there from 11:30 am till midnight every day (even till 1 am on Friday&Saturday nights).
A note for people in Berlin only for a short time: If you do not have a registered address here we’re still happy to have you as a customer, in this case please just remember to bring a deposit of 20€ (just for the time of the respective rental) per DVD.
