GERMAN GIVES YOU A HEADACHE?

The natives of this country are very accustomed to synchronized movies. That’s why going to the movies in Germany can be a frustrating experience for non-German speakers. To accomodate the needs of our very international Kiez, we screen a lot of films either in their original English version (usually with german subtitles) or provide english subtitles for non-English speaking movies. Especially Geman speaking will usually have English subtitles. Unfortunately, some movies (German and non-German) are distributed in Germany without the option of English subtitles. We can’t help that, but we are doing our best to bring cinema lovers from all around the world together – on our sofas!
